Josh Bell of Jesuit to play for horns

I'm not sure what foregoing the draft means, but if he and his family stick to this play, it sounds like help is on the way for the Horns offense.

This could be a big deal for Texas, but anytime you see Scott Boras’s name in conjunction with a recruit, you know to wait and see if some manipulation is going on. Is this just signaling non-favored teams not to draft the guy so he will slip down to a favored team who will end-up paying more than slot money?

I’ve had my heart broken too many times to count my players before midnight August 15.

I agree with SBM - the fact that Scott Boras has his bifurcated tail in this guy is not good news for the Horns. Plus, unlike Purke he would be committing to 3 years of college, not 2.

I believe it's 21 within 90 days of the draft, hence why he would qualify (also why Cohl Walla is also draft eligible)
