Wow. Good for aggy. If they win a game in Omaha because of these rankings then it will be more meaningful than anything they've accomplished in decades.

Looking at their schedule, it doesn't look like we'll learn much from them until their Minute Maid tournament against UC Irvine, Rice, and Houston. If they get through that even 2-1, they'll have my respect.

Great to see us in the top 5. I hope we can get past our 3 year skid though in regional play.

Nebraska not being ranked is pretty different.

I see what OU is doing there. Hmmm. Are they really going to be any good?

Will USC ever be as good as they used to be when so much talent is going to UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, and whoa... look at that... UCLA ranked! It gives us more opportunity to catch up with their 11 titles.

Baylor top 10? Really? Do they have something going on that I am not realizing?
 
I'm going to love it when Nebraska overachieves this year in baseball and aTm underachieves like always. Can't wait.

No one does less with more than Texas A&M
 
You look stupid with comments like that. In baseball, A&M won the Big 12 Tourney 2 years ago & won the outright Big 12 Title last year (advancing to Supers both years & losiing to Rice). For whatever you think of him, your old asst. Childress has done a helluva job at TAMU. A&M won more conference titles than did the 'Horns last year when considering all 19 sports. Women's sports are flourishing (softball past 2 WCWS, soccer, basketball, etc.). Sure, it is easy to say A&M should be better considering the $$, academic reputation, resources, alumni base, location, conference, etc. There is an argument to be made, all things considered, on that topic. But, A&M's overall program is in good shape & we'll just have to see now what Sherman can do with football. But this "no one does less with more" topic is not without debate.

And my bet is you did not even attend NEB. Nothing but a t-shirt fan. Have fun with that. Can't stay on field with UT? What game are you watching? I stated objective facts. NEB is in the bottom 1/3 academically in the Big 12. How do I know that? Because I have worked in college sports, specifically academics. Please don't regurgitate how many Academic AAs, etc. NEB is what it is. Recruit your own state much? Learn your stuff or just pipe down. I'm not boasting about anything. The season will determine everything. And I like my position.
 
roll2 could've had a nice ribbing match, but then like every other typical blinndergartener he spewed out the old 'tshirt fan' crap.

roll2 fails at message board and life.

with that said, aTm will have a pretty decent season again. they were a good team last year and a lot of guys are back. but until they go to omaha, it'll just mean nothing to me or any college baseball fan. aTm will continuously be disrespected and not taken serious until they do something of substance.

this goes for their football and basketball too. your basketball team is just a season or two away from going 0-fer again.
