Seriously. You'd think some team, especially in the AL, would have wanted this guy in their lineup.

It's almost as if the commissioner and owners agreed that getting Roger Clemens and Barry out of the game would allow the media to move on from the drug scandal and focus on getting the game itself back in the spotlight.

I think Jerry Jones needs to get into baseball. Bonds would be a perfect nucleus for his team.

Are you really that surprised? While he could still probably put up decent numbers in a DH role, he brings so much negative attention to the clubhouse, a place where he isn't even a good teammate to begin with and you have to wonder how the 14 counts of perjury hanging over his head will affect him.
As a GM the inordinate amount of money it would cost for his above average numbers with all the issues, would just not be worth it.
