Barnes handing out blame *DELETED*

Watching the game, I can't help but agree with Barnes on this one. Kabongo and Lewis looked out of control on what should have been easy transition points. Papi and Lammert were weak on their ball defense and movement. Ridley was even worse than the Ridley we've seen the last couple games. They weren't even a shell of what they were during the OU comeback, especially from about the 10 minute mark of the 1st half to the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half, when we were outscored 40-20.

Horns, I don't disagree with you. I am just saying that if these guys are so
out of control, out of sync, it just might have a bit to do with the coach not
getting through to them. Could be Barnes needs to share the blame.

Barnes continues to point fingers at everyone except himself. If you were a recruit, would you look at Barnes and the Texas program and think, "man I want to play for this guy?" He looks desperate. The team looks poorly coached. The results speak for themselves.

SectionThree, take the political stuff to West Mall. Leave it off the sports boards.

The end of the first half and that second half were all on the players, they just did some stupid things, no coaching could have helped them in the second half of that game.

Rick Barnes has stated that the players perform significantly better in practice than in games and he is at a loss as to why that is. I believe it could be a case of collective stage fright.

He needs to look in the mirror. Barnes is a horrible offensive basketball coach. The ONLY reason he's had success is because he has recruited well. But his stagnant offense where it seems like HIS ONLY PLAY is to run an "on the ball screen", is pathetic. The only time the offense looks like it has any kind of rhythm is if he has a great point guard who can create offense off the dribble. And the only 2 PG's we've had during his time here that were capable of making his offense go are TJ Ford & DJ Augustine. Any other year there was zero chance his teams would make any kind of run in the NCAA tourney. As long as we are happy just getting in the tourney, I guess he's your man.

The great increase over the past decade in by the quarter, by the half and all other online betting has made it tough to be a coach.
