Bar recommendation in the arboretum area.

Reed's Jazz & Supper Club. Great scotch selection, low-key live jazz and piano at night and great food as well. The bartenders are really knowledgeable and take care of you.

My girlfriend lives in that area and that is hands-down my favorite bar out there. It is over by REI.

Not a problem. If you are looking to take a date for dinner, call in advance (I talked to the GM about a week ahead, though I doubt that is necessary) and reserve one of the three private booth tables upstairs. There are three separate booths in a curtained room and they really look after you. And, if you eat, try the Miso-Sake Salmon with shiitake dumplings or the Filet. Both great.

If you're just going for drinks, you'll definitely enjoy the bar. Try the Glenmorangie Portwood or if you're in the mood to shell out some $ to try some of the best scotch I've had, try a glass of The Balvenie 25 Year. This is making me realize I need to be older than 24 and make more money....

Reeds is a good choice. Ask for JJ at the downstairs bar.

Eddie Vs is my favorite for drinks and food. Try the crabcakes at Happy Hour 4-7. Best in town.
