Bar on 35 (north preferably) to watch preseason?

Trying to catch at least the first half of the Saints/Texans game Saturday, but due to some other obligations, I need to be up north along 35 somewhere, to get to where I'm going when I need to be there.

Any decent places to watch between downtown and PVille, off of 35?

Prefer a place that's more bar than restaurant. Definitely not looking for an Applebee's/Hooters type place.

I hate myself that the first thing that comes to mind is Wings 'n More at Howard. I'm sure you'll get a better recommendation soon.

I don't know how good the food is at Bikini's but it is just north of 290 over by Papasito's and Papadeaux's. I was in there when they opened. Food was not bad, not great. They call themselves a sports bar and if I remember correctly, they had a decent amount of tv's.

There is also Antonio's on the opposite side of the highway, south of the interchange of 183 and 35. Been years since I was there as well so no current info.

Maybe a little too far but there is a new 3rd Base on the SE corner of the intersection with the 45 tollway.

There's also another Antonio's with a good sports bar between Pflugerville & Round Rock on the west side of I-35. I'ts just south of the big 45/35 overpass intersection
