Banff National Park

I am in the process of planning a family summer vacation to Banff, Alberta. I would appreciate any advice on must do's/must sees or must avoids. Probably not going to make it up to Jasper, although will be taking a bus tour up the Icefields Parkway.

At the very least, hike around that area, as it's fabulous. The hike around Lake Louise, up to the various Tea Huts and the Hoodoos is well worth the workout.

Banff Springs Hotel is worth staying in or even visiting - they don't make them like that anymore.
