Bama Car Dealership Raided

I wonder if this could have anything to do with Bama's recent recruiting success. Following Kirkpatrick's commitment to Bama, there were reports of recruits being given cars from a local dealership in Gadsden. The link below was posted today about Crown Motors of Gadsden Alabama being raided and shut down. This happens to be the dealership that Kirkpatrick's new Crimson Red Dodge Charger came from. There's also a link in the article to the local ABC affiliate reporting the raid.

How exactly do you go about cover your tracks if you ARE guilty of passing along cars to recruits? I would think there is a paper trail that you have to make disappear at some point.

Dealership Raided in Bama

***Edited to link to news article. It looks like they are simply after financial docs related to taxes and fraud. The previous link to a rival's message board makes a huge leap in suggesting that recruiting had anything to do with this whatsoever. - Orangeblood

Don't think it's related. They've been under investigation for years. Also, are we sure Kirkpatricks' charger came from there? I thought it came from Midfield Dodge after a purchase at a Tampa auction? I may be confusing it with Jerrell Harris'. In any event, yeah, IF you were doing that, there would be a paper trail that would be difficult to cover up.

I wonder why Big Red's wasn't raided sooner. Like right after that Aggie reported it.
