I just got back from Bali Stayed at 4 Seasons Jimbaran Bay.

I must say I was surprised - Bali is bad *** especially this time of the year - no himidity, sunny and not too hot - like san diego.

The 4 seasons is tits but there are numerous other great hotels not nearly as expensive - did whitewater rafting, surfing, riding, jungle trekking.

I think I was the only one there not on a honeymoon.

Highly recommend bali - head out there if you can.

looked into it for my honeymoon. i agree, everything i saw there looked awesome. it was just too far away, so we're staying closer.

I have been there several times - one of my favorite places on earth.

I did almost drown once on Kuta beach attempting to surf before I was rescued by some Japanese surfers.

Bali is unique because it is completely a completely Hindu island within a completely Islamic country. The type of Hinduism there is also very old (Vedic) compared to what is practiced in India these days. Fascinating place.

i did find out that the hindu balians hate th muslim indonesians

they are so pissed that the bombs wrecked the economy for months after the events
