Balbay 6, OU 4

That is not a good sign for the Sooners.

16-4 now.

I hope he keeps it up

With our current ball movement him having the ability to shoot even a midrange jumper will be huge.

Gosh this TEAM looks good!

Another evening of following horns on the net while sitting at my desk, keep the updates coming.

My biggest criticism of our play the last few games is we get up by a bunch and then the offense gets lazy (i.e., less movement with and without the ball and settling for jumpers). It's a bad habit.

The last three or four possessions are more like it! Patience, lots of passing, lots of movement without the ball, and some very good looks as a result.

Score is now 31-15, Horns. Hamilton with a couple of big threes and a nice look inside to TT, who went up, got fouled and converted both free throws.

OU with a chance for an old-fashioned 3-point play. Sooners are keeping the score respectable by executing their offense and getting some good looks.

Score is 36-24, Texas, with an OU free throw on the way.

Sooners get the free throw to pull within 11, 36-25, but Balbay goes coast-to-coast for back-to-back layups to push Texas' lead to 40-25.

Turkish Terror, indeed.

Half comes to an end with Texas up, 44-28. Overall, an excellent effort from our 'Horns.

Hamilton leads the team with 11 points and five boards, but he's also guilty of a game-high four turnovers.

Dogus is the only other Longhorn in double figures, having 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and 2 of 2 at the free-throw line.

EDIT: Hamilton only had 11 points at the half.

Sooners capitalize on a couple of Texas turnovers to trim the lead to 14 before Jordan stops the bleeding with a free throw. Texas leads, 49-34, at the 15:57 mark in the second half.

Longhorns push the advantage to 20 thanks to some free throws from Gary Johnson and two buckets from Jordan Hamilton.

With Tristan picking up his third foul early in the second half, Matt Hill is getting some minutes. He hasn't scored, but his post-up defense has been solid and he's snagged three boards.

NC winning at Puke, 54-47 mid 2nd half. Baylor beat Nebraska. Ags leading at CU by 1 pt 2nd half after being down by 7.

Very flat/ragged play these last few minutes as both teams seem to be counting down the minutes. Texas leads, 60-41, with 7:50 to play.

Just got home and our freaking ESPN2 also has DUKE-UNC. Sometimes living down here really blows when it comes to Texas games on ESPN2.

WOW FW, where are you? I get most games here in FL if not on ESPN on ESPN2 or U (all part of basic package). So far only had to watch 3-4 games online
