Texas handily defeated Missouri Friday night.

The number one recruit in the nation out of Maryland, Bailey Webster was in the audience. Let's all hope she liked what she saw.

Did anybody notice her? If they did, was she enjoying herself? She was at Stanford not too long ago.

She's down to Florida, Stanford, Alabama, and Texas.
 
Yes Bailey W. was at the match along with another recruit. Anyone know who the other recruit was? She looked to be about 6'4" just slightly taller than Bailey at 6'3".

It's official!
The #1 recruit for 2009, Bailey Webster, is a Longhorn. She joins another top ten recruit - ShaDare McNeal.

Hopefully the Horns are destined for a Nat'l Championship real soon!
 
I'm really happy she's coming here. However, I have a mini-rant. I think it's pathetic that there isn't even a little blip in OUR paper about it. I know everything is all about football around here but is it to much to ask that we get some occasional coverage for women's sports?

Sha'Dare McNeal is also a great volleyball player! She comes from the San Diego area. She too was on the USA Junior National team. These two outstanding players may give Texas the number one recruiting class in the country.

Our recruiting classes have gone from good to great to ridiculous. I smell a national championship coming.
