Well, ESPN/ABC has planned a full Christmas Day of NBA games:

Bulls-Knicks
Celtics-Magic
Heat-Lakers
Nuggets-Thunder
Blazers-Warriors

But do you see the league leading San Antonio Spurs in that schedule????? The Spurs get a big resounding Bah Humbug from ESPN/ABC on Christmas Day.

I guess to heartell the Spurs will be thrilled NOT to be playing on Christmas day.

I agree. If I were a player, I wouldn't want to play on Christmas Day.

Spurs consists of a bunch of old dudes who will wear down in the second half of the season. Book it. No doubt they will have a good seed in playoffs but they will be bounced in the second round if not sooner.

From a player's perspective they shouldn't care, and neither should Phil F'ing Jackson, if they play on Christmas Day. From a fan's viewpoint, I"d be glad they're not. Give me the day after when I'm looking for a little something to watch.
