Do you think that Baba has any clue that Palin is just emulating the time honored political tradition of the whistle-stop tour?

As late as 1948, presidential candidate Truman criss-crossed the country on a train, stopping here and there and giving political speeches to drum up support.

Sarah Palin is on a family bus tour of historic America. The media are following her around, speculating about whether she will or will not run for POTUS, and documenting various harmless gaffes.

Anthony Weiner had phone sex and sent x-rated and other raunchy photos of himself to several women who were not his wife using government property and lied about it.

Weiner did not use govt. property, he used his blackberry, which is how the whole world knows about this in the first place. He pushed the wrong button, and uploaded it to Twitter.

Weiner is guilty of being a douchebag husband and creep- but, much like that Senator who had a wide staunch in a Minneapolis airport bathroom- I technically don't see a reason for them to resign from a job- other than if you feel you are voting for a person and their personal life in addition to their politics.

If Palin were to seduce young men via twitter- I'd think it's creepy, but it wouldn't disqualify her from being POTUS as much as being an idiot does.

Even though most of us are cynical enough to 'think' most politicians are liars. It's a whole nother story, when we have a proven liar. Can you give that person, the benefit of the doubt, when discussing serious issues? You know that lying to make themselves look better is part of their dna.
