Away games tickets behind TX bench?

I usually make several away games including Baylor, OU and OSU. I usually just purchase the tickets the day of the game at the box office. This usually puts me in the midst of the home teams fans. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could purchase tickets so I would have tickets w/ the TX fans behind the TX bench.

When I purchase my tickets can I just tell them I'm with TX and would like tickets w/ the TX fans?

i think you'd have to buy your tickets from texas. baylor's ticket office is usually rather inept. they've gotten better in the last couple of years, though.

My experiences with tickets obtained through UT for the conference road games is that the other Big-12 schools really screw us on seats. Better seats can be obtained ordering online through the regular outlets.

For non-conference games, I have had success getting behind the bench by calling the other school's ticket office and occasionally even to the AD's office. They tended to be rather cooperative...even moreso when they have attendance issues of their own.

If you order yourself, do it early...don't wait until the day of the game. I was often doing it on the same day I was booking my airfare, hotel and car.
