Avery Bradley

So I go watch some NBA D league Texas Legends vs Maine last night and who do I see on the Maine Redclaws roster...............Avery Bradley.

Still a pretty good defender, but little to no game on the offensive end. Man, he could have really used at least another year , if not 2 more, to develop. Instead, he has been sent down by the Celts just to get some PT which he will clearly not get enough of in the NBA at this point. He may come out of the D league like CJ Miles did for Utah a few years back or then again he may not.

Pretty sloppy basketball for the most part which is why most of these guys are in the D league. Don't know who has the rights to Joe Alexander, out of West VA a couple of years back, but he impressed me most & I think several NBA teams could use a big athletic forward like him.

Any way, Avery...........what if he was on this year's team. Sure would be nice to have more depth and a good on-the-ball defender. What if................

Couldn't agree with the OP more. Bradley certainly could use another year or two here and the Horns would be better with that young man on this team.

I do hope things turn out well for him, whatever his future holds.

No doubt Bradley should have stayed 1 or 2 more years in Austin - he would have been a very good college player whose stock would have skyrocketed, but I can't help but think this team's chemistry would be adversely affected if he were on the roster this year.

Pretty sure Cory Joseph doesnt come if Bradley stays so all in all Texas got better end of that decision.

Ditto to Steer... I think that the props Bradley was getting from scouts and agents helped create that chasm between our players last year. Especially considering he only played well against bad teams.

Agree with all. He should have stayed, but think we end up with better team all way around. Good luck to him - I loved him in HS and was as excited about him as I was TJ - thought he would elevate us to another level. Too bad.

With C's short-handed tonight I thought Bradley must really not be cutting it to not get into a game when they only have 9 players...and lo and behold he starts the 2nd quarter. Good for him. Hope he does well.

No, he should not have stayed. This team chemistry and all-around is better off without him. Good luck in all that you do.

that's an easy 2nd guess on thinking it best that Bradley shouldn't have stayed. what were you saying about Hamilton after last year?

Was Hamilton a distraction and at times a problem last year? I will answer that for you. No.

This team, as a team (especially off court) is better off without him. Again, good luck wherever you go but thank you for not being here.
