Austin/Seattle RT Flights?

Anyone have experience with this route? Best airport to fly into in Seattle? Typically cheapest airline? Looks like AmericaWest is coming up on the low end, but that's at Seattle/Tacoma.

Any advice appreciated.

SeaTac will get you closest. It's only about 30 minutes from downtown Seattle. Car rentals at the airport aren't as convenient since you have to take a shuttle to get to off-site car rental places.

Looking at the Yahoo travel site, Austin-Seattle is running around $213 round-trip.

Yeah, is there another major Seattle airport? I think SEATAC is it.

took frontier a few years ago into seatac. 200-250 sounds about right.

Fly into SFO and drive up the coast. It will only add an additional 3 days to your one way trip.

what are the dates you are going? Prices can be vastly different depending on flight times.

SeaTac is your only option. There isn't another major airport (that would be a viable option) within 70 miles.

and someone mentioned downtown is 30 minutes from the airport. It's more like 10-15, but whatever.

sometime between march 10 (thurs) and march 17. during spring break. the only reason i asked about the airport is because AA's website gave a 'seattle international' option that was separate from tacoma.

i'll look into frontier.
