Did the tour Friday - All six McMansions were pretty awesome digs, but way overpriced @ $2.5 - $3.5 million, IMO. Lots of cool amenties & features.
One even had a wineroom with a glass bottom floor that looked down on an indoor-outdoor Koi Pond. Dunno what the hell I'd do with that, except drink the wine.
Lots of nice game rooms with wet bars & home theaters.

We do the sheetrock work on a lot of high end custom homes in Austin. It still amazes me just how incredible some of the home here are.

You still get more for your money than most major cities, right? Square footage, amenities,etc.

Before the "bubble" popped on the coasts, in Las Vegas, Phoenix, etc. Austin was definitely cheap. I imagine we're closer to the average price now that those outliers have pulled back.
