Austin Dinner

My parents are going to Austin to celebrate their Anniversary. I am sending them out to dinner and was looking for some suggestions. Right now I am thinking Eddie V's.

They are simple, small town folk so they don't have to be the most upscale place for them.

Any other ideas?

I prefer Eddie V's to Trulucks. I also think Louie's 106 is quite good.

Are they going to be overwhelmed by parking issues downtown? Valet parking might be something to consider.

I think most parents would like Roaring Fork or maybe even Gumbo's, in addition to those already mentioned. Cafe Josie is fantastic, too.

Eddie V's is very good but Trulucks is prob my fav place in Austin for a nice dinner

I think I have shifted my plan to great seats at the Tech game and a steak at the Saltgrass.

Ranch 616 is one of my favorite places in Austin. I have thought about that too.
