I had my carpets cleaned by Hart's Carpet Cleaning a few weeks ago, and they did a spectacular job for very little money. I paid $160, which covered 1,100 sf of carpet, 2 stairwells, and 2 area rugs. They were extremely conscientious, putting all but the heaviest furniture up on foam pads to let the carpet to dry, etc. (It just so happens that the owner was the guy who cleaned my carpet, but I imagine his work ethic trickles down to his other employees, too.)
