Austin Apt.'s

I'm moving back to Austin within the next few weeks and need some help finding an apt.

I haven't lived in the city for close to four years and was hoping someone could give me the names of a few new places to check out, ideally starting near town lake and going south.

There are a few apartments near Barton Creek Mall along Mopac that are nice. My gf has lived at the Gables and currently Barton Creek Landing. Gables are a bit pricey and there is one right across from the mall I forget the name. Also, there are some on Barton Skyway. I think living along Mopac is convinent. Short drive to dowtown/campus and close to groceries and other stuff.

not really south but you could try the Gables off 2222 and mopac area. I loved it there and its close to some nice parts of town!! Nice pools and really nice complex. Never once had a matience problem. Even got to have deer right behind my patio which was cool.

You should check with a realtor. There are alot of condos in this area, as well as small apartment complexs. I live in some condos on south 1st, about 100 yards from Whataburger. It is a great location.
