Bad day at Black Rock. Baseball, basketball and football.

Not really.
We never really expected to get a kid out of Washington. Plus, we have a commit from the #1 TE in Texas.
We expected to lose the 2 draftees in baseball, and were fortunate to keep Green and Shep. Actually, good news.
Basketball. Not so great but plenty of forwards out there that will love to come.

Agree with the follow-up poster--the only real loss here seems to be Daniels' de-commitment. Our men's hoopsters are in desperate need for some frontcount reinforcements.

Ya, it wasn't a great day. However, the white flag should only be flown if we do not land a stud RB from this class considering the level of talent there.

Even then we will be fine because any of us could likely run through the holes this class of beef is going to be serving. It would just be puzzling as to why none of them would commit.

The loss of Daniel's is huge! This is a bad year for big men nationally, so no it won't be as easy as just going out to grab someone else. Not only that but he is a stud. A top 10-15 kid in basketball has way more impact on a program than a top 10-15 ranked FB player.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Texas will get another forward not the end of the world. Getting 2 dudes back in baseball is great. No Big Deal not getting a tight end from Washington. Different day and moving on.

You obviously don't know much about basketball recruiting. You can't just go out and get another top 10-15 player in the nation, especially this season. There are only a handful of guys in the nation that are as good as Daniels at his position. It's probably worse overall than getting a commit from Malcolm Brown and then him decommitting. Seriously.
