Though Jean is an exceptional person, as part of Augie's private life comments about her are pretty much out of bounds according to the Guidelines.

Will Crouch was on 1300 AM this afternoon and was really supportive of Augie.

Speaks volumes when players choose to speak up in situations like this.
 
I support Augie and hope the best for him, but I too think he may resign. As for the SO, I think it is within the guidelines to say she appears to be easy on the eyes.

a player gets a dui and he is suspended for a game. one of the greatest coaches in the cb history gets a dui and people thinks he should be fired or will resign?

he should be leading by example, which is why this is a bigger deal than it should be. i hear about more and more people getting dui's just because they rolled a stop sign or sped 5 mph over or didn't use their turn indicator.

i've flashed my headlights to people every now and then for having their lights turned off. i guess they're all drunk.

i'm more suprised he doesn't have a vehicle that the lights turn on when the vehicle is put into drive.

Exactly. So, he decided to drive the 800 yards, probably very cautiously- valet shuts the auto lights off, roads are VERY well lit and he doesn't realize they're off. So, this baseball genious who has done so much for the university and so many others over his 40 year carreer deserves to be fired and is now disgrace to the university.(My blackberry is not allowing me to select "roll eyes" but here is where they belong.) Get real.

and you're wrong. we've had several players get pulled over for dui. they missed a game or two.
 
I'm having quite a week. While not riding the Obama bandwagon all along, I converted rapidly as soon as he took action in his first couple of days in office. I have great respect for what he stands for, and that his actions speak louder than even his words.

Now, regards Kirk Bohls.. I've complained a long time about his style of writing and banter. Often just drives me nuts. But today... another Obama-turnaround. Kirk's opinion on the situation with Garrido has likewise turned me around forever on my view of Kirk Bohls as a writer. He can be cute all he likes, all year long, .... as long as he can come out with a piece like this when it's time to be serious.
