Twin sister of Khaleann & a 2016-17 commit will be crashing the boards and shooting 3's in the National Junior College Championship Finals tomorrow!
Good luck to her, excited to see her here in Burnt Orange next year!!

Gulf Coast won the National Championship tonight. Goudreau was voted CO-MVP along with her teammate King. I watched all except the last 2 minutes so here are some observations about her game.
  • Outstanding stamina as she played the entire game and never appeared tired or winded.
  • Unselfish as she passes the ball quickly and doesn't force her shots. Saw only one bad pass that was a turnover.
  • Smart as she almost never fouls. I don't think she had but maybe one foul.
  • Defensive rebounding is really good. Her offensive rebounding is minimal because she plays almost entirely outside.
  • Plays the vast majority of the time at the top of the key or 10 feet each side of that BTA. She is always in triple-threat position ready to shoot.
  • Outstanding passing skills as she helps break the press with her over-the-top, quick passing.
  • Made the first basket of the game with a nice pump fake and mid-range jumper. Then missed her first four BTA shots all in first half.
  • Gulf Coast was up one mid-part of the third period. Goudreau made 2 back to back threes and suddenly it was a 7 point spread and changed the entire game. Shortly after that she banked in a trey.
  • Announcers mentioned that she was headed towards a triple double.......points, rebounds, blocks.
  • Impressive in all her fundamentals. Obvious she has had some real good coaching........from the Canadian National teams, Vanderbilt, and I liked her GC coach as well.
  • The longer you see her play, the more you appreciate her.
It was a good game for her. It will be interesting this fall if Aston uses her at the top of the key as a point-forward like Gulf Coast did. If so, that would change up the entire Texas offense..........from a current inside/outside plus a pick and roll.......... to some sort of motion offense. She also has the skills to move to the traditional forward/corner spot so it will be fun to speculate.

If Coach Aston stays with the four around one offense she would be a very good high low player with her ability to shoot the 3 from the top of the key at the 4/5 position. She also can be a very effective pick and pop player because of her ability to shoot the 3.

She is going to be very good here at Texas, glad she took the time, and will be able to come here on a roll...
She is pictured on NJCAA Website, #51, front page!!

Now THIS sounds more like the player I watched the other day Flash34. I did not agree with your first impressions of her in a previous post. This lady can PLAY and play VERY WELL. She will play HUGE MINUTES for Texas next year and provide us with physicality, versatility, basketball IQ and PASSION!!!!! She is going to do big things at Texas with her sister.
