Attorney Question

I was involved in a minor accident with a motorcycle several weeks ago. Today, when I went to the Muni Court to sign up for defensive driving, the clerk pointed out that my ticket said I was driving the motorcycle, which I of course wasn't. I have to talk to a judge or take the motorcycke defensive driving course.

It seems like I have heard that if the officer makes a mistake like this, it can void the ticket. I'd like to know if that's true before I talk to the judge tomorrow.

Thanks for any help!

What kind of motorcycle were you operating?

Were you wearing a helmet while riding your motorcycle? You know, just because you don't have to doesn't mean that you shouldn't...

Was it a bicycle or a motorcycle? Because, technically, you should still be following the same rules as a motorized vehicle. Even though no one does. But the judge isn't going to want to hear you make that case. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. You should seriously think about getting a car. They offer you more protection in case you are in an accident. Is the judge white or black?

I suggest you call Jim Adler, the "Texas Hammer". He'll get you the results you need. Either him or Wade Blasingame.
