Attic insulation in DFW?

Can anyone recommend a reputable, inexpensive attic insulation company? I have a one story home with about 1600 sq ft of attic space that still has the original 1955 insulation in it. I have called a few places but they are wanting $600 plus for 13" of insulation. Is this a fair price? Thanks
