In the last two weeks of sportscasts, I have been hearing on radio and television that Sam Bradford and OU offense has been working heavily on the "no huddle" offensive scheme in their practices. Reasons stated were the obvious such as keeping defenses off balance and unable to focus on any one aspect of their attack. Also to keep pressure off Bradford in the pocket as he will be working with new wide receivers and the absence of Malcolm Kelly. There is debate about whether or not DeMarco Murray will be able to handle the bulk of the running game which is similar to discussions that took place with Jammal Charles and our offense a year or so ago.
You gotta wonder if they are prepping the "hook and ladder" and the "statue of liberty" to spring it against their tougher competition this season, if needed?
The old saying is " whats good for the goose is good for the gander" and after four bowl losses in a row, the other saying might be " if you can't beat them, join them".
In any case, the Texas defense must be ready for any and all that might be thrown at them.
