I have it and like it very much. I don't know about Dish but it has far more than Time Warner had and it cost me 33% less per month. There had been an issue about only one HD stream per house but I heard the other day that it is being switched around town this month to include more streams of HD.
I got Uverse in early Aug here in Austin and in the process fired Time warner.
I'm happy with it as it's cheaper, and more reliabel. (I had horrible RoadRunner issues)
Biggest difference between Roadrunner and Uverse is that you share bandwith with your neighbors on RR, but have a dedicated line on Uverse.
The UI is much better than TW, and i have no problems with internet or TV.
Sorry, I can't comment on Dish. All I can tell you is to swing by an AT&T store and ask for a copy of the channel lineup, so you can compare to what you have today. That's what I did. (the guy may need to go xerox his personal listing sheet in the back)
Forgot to mention that I can program my Uverse DVR from my computer (or my iPhone) and it starts recording within seconds! Pretty cool feature if you're like me and forget to set stuff.
Thanks. I'm more interested in picture quality comparison than channel lineup comparison. Since Uverse is giving me the first month free, I think I will keep Dish Network that month and compare the two.
