ATT U-Verse question (picture quality)

There is a 3 page thread on AT&T U-verse from 3/08 to 10/08. I've read thru it all. Just one basic question to update the topic: One of the posters mentioned that the non-HD channels' picture quality was so-so. Anyone else give a thumbs up or down to picture quality?

It's hard to tell since the HD looks so good, when you go to a non-HD channel it looks terrible. But I definitely don't think it's any worse than other providers' non-HD.

I'm completely irritated with ATT. My neighbor can get Uverse, but they said that I'm "out of the service area". My neighbor's house is 15' away from mine and we have all the other ATT services. FIOS doesn't serve in my area either.

I heard the DVRs with U-Verse were kick-*** and had a huge HD that could store something like 100 hrs of HD programing. Is this true and any feedback on the overall experience would be appreciated. As soon as I can get U-Verse I am kicking &^%$#%$^% Comcast to the curb!

UnBiased...there is a bundle for TV and Net and digital phone service via land line, I think. If you go to the U-verse website you can do a live, on-line chat with a rep who could better answer that for you.
