This should not be a surprise. AT&T's last 2 moves have been driven by where the CEO wanted to live. SBC (now AT&T) moved their headquarters to San Antonio from St. Louis because that is where Whitacre wanted to live. Now the new chairman and CEO wants to live in Dallas so they are moving the HQ again.
