Sprint might have lucked themselves into longevity as they were one of the only carrier's to invest in infrastructure during the last 3 years. And seeing as though so many subscribers have bailed on Sprint over the last 3 years, they definitely have the bandwidth to add a few million subscribers.

Sprint is being ran by the guy who went head to head with John Ziglas(sp?) for the CEO spot at the old AT&T Wireless. Ziglas won and went about crashing the old AT&T Wireless into the side of a mountain, then selling it to Cingular. (Which is now AT&T)

It will be interesting to see if they can get in the mix with the big two. The guy running the show at Sprint knows what is doing....

Even if it was it was only over on this part of the globe. You can walk into one of many stores in Asia and buy an iphone with no restriction on who your carrier is. We get so screwed here in the U.S. regarding electronics and stuff like that.

well, whatever happens...... ATT made one of the best business decisions in the last ten years to hop on board the iphone wagon. millions of new customers. nothing by any other wireless carrier has come close.

with competition looming and functionality (droid etc) getting close, the exclusvitiy contract won't be as valuable in the years to come anyway.
