ATT and DISH parting ways

I have DISH bundled with my AT&T. Does this mean that after Dec. 2008, I will get 2 separate bills? Will I have to return equipment?

Makes sense AT&T is launching there own cable(U-verse). I have Dish through AT&T right now. I assume my bill will be separated but I will have to finish off the contract.
