Of course, if you choose to visit Buckhead, you can spend all three days in traffic trying to get there.

I remember there was a puppet museum I wanted to see, but never made it.

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and the CNN Tour are about it for me. I like the ATL and go there frequently for bidniss, not for pleasure.

Staying downtown? I recommend dinner at the Atlanta Grill in the Ritz-Carlton. Very nice and pretty pricey. For lunch: The Varsity!

Buckhead? Bones (steaks), Georgia Grill (Southwest cuisine), Atlanta Fish Market.

If you like zoos, Atlanta has a very good one, including giant pandas and a terrific gorilla habitat.
