ATI AIW with Dish

I'm thinking of purchasing an ATI AIW RADEON 9800PRO video card so that I can record TV on my pc. My question is, will it work with DishNetwork? Anyone currently using both?

If you're using the card for simple video capture, I don't see why not. You can run video/audio cables to the computer from anything and it will work.

If you're using the card as a DVR, however, I don't know. The computer would need to have a way to change the satellite receiver's channel.

 

[Bottom Line]

Get one these and it will enable you to switch channels on a Dish box. USB-UIRT I use it in conjuction with Snapstream's Beyond TV. Works like a champ.
