Athlon 2009-10 College Basketball Magazine

Flipped through referenced magazine today. Although, the magazine is mainly for men's basketball, they also give a preseason ranking for the womens' teams as well. They had Texas at #6. What do you all think about that?

I don't have the magazine in front of me, but OU was #19, Kansas was around #22, and TAMU was #25. Baylor was in there somewhere as well, but seems between #15-20. Can't recall any other Big XII teams.

[BTW, the Longhorn men are ranked #3 with Kansas being #1 and OU #9. Not sure if any other Big XII teams are ranked.]

Wow! I think that's really high for the women. I think the men should be up there. I would be very happy with the women being between 15-20. I think the Horns have a number of questions that will be answered during the season, but starting out? #6 is really optimistic.

Maybe they know something we don't.

I believe we're ranked way too high. We're probably between #17 - #25.
