...in San Antonio.
I enjoyed a macho cheeseburger.
I'd heard of this place for years and years and years and years.
It was just as reviewed by the Texas Burger Guy: a good, greasy, gargantuan burger served in a supercharged Mom and Pop, neighborhood type setting featuring efficiency, character and style with lots of regulars, families and a few tourists in attendance.
The place indeed has a unique vibe, menu and routine.
There must have been at least 25 or 30 employees, cashering, cooking, cleaning, counter staffing, circulating, cerveza and coke selling and, hopefully, CPR certified, plus a rent-a-cop in the parking lot.
There's also a full bar and enough T-shirts on sale to clothe a small army.
Nine dollars and change for my big burger, a beer and a fun filled, food filling experience.
Next time I'll wander around a bit more and maybe even sit outdoors on the patio.
