Astronomical history tonite............

At sunset and for the first hour or so afterwards look to the SW sky and observe Saturn and Jupiter in "alignment" (less than .1 degree apart).........otherwise known as the Star of Bethlehem........they havent been this close since the 1200's.

It was amazing. All I had were some good binocs but wow
