As of 6/11...NFL teams to root against in 2008

The following is a list of NFL teams without ANY former Longhorns on them. I wish nothing but failure upon them:

Washington Redskins
St. Louis Rams
New York Jets
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Jacksonville Jaguars
Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints

Teams to potentially hate:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (pending the Chris Simms debacle)
Indianapolis Colts (depends on if Brandon Foster can make the squad)
Philadelphia Eagles (depends on if Richmond McGee can make the squad)

Wow... what a dumb reason to use for rooting against a team. You also must be rooting for the Lakers to win the finals since Chris Mihm is their 4th string center.
 
Why is that a dumb reason if you don't really care about pro leagues. Its the same thing I do, the more visible presence of Longhorns makes me root for teams instead of another. There is only one team I'm obliged to root for and that is Texas. Every other team falls below The University of Texas.
 
I used to find the NFL and other pro leagues more entertaining, then I went to my first game at DKR as a student and that changed rather quickly. I would rather watch anything Texas than any pro league and if I'm going to watch a pro team, I want people who came from Texas to do well. Its all a matter of priorities, and like I said:
1 - Texas
2 - Everyone else
3 - sooner/aggy/piggy/tech
 
New Orleans Saints

Well, I don't care for Bush all that much and there might not be any Horns on the team, but I'd like to see ol' Drew do well over there.

Washington Redskins

The only time I'll root against the Skins is if Vince is the starting QB of the opposing team.
 
I thought I was the only one that followed Texas players in the pros vs actual teams.

The NFL is not that entertaining, before college, couldn't get enough, after Texas, ah ok.

Seriously, though, that list is getting shorter with every passing season for the Horns.
 
i predict by page 3 this turns into a thread about people rooting against 2 teams: cowboys & texans
 
I'm sure some of those teams will play each other sometime during the season. therefore, can you give us an updated priority list based upon how many aggy and sooners are on those teams?

DALLAS

TITANS

Whoever has the most HORNS in that order.
 
If you care enough to post on a UT football message board, you probably care enough to support the ex-Horns on their respective teams in the NFL. Consider me someone you bases the number of Horns on a team as one element when choosing who to root for.

I've always been a Bears fan. But I've only recently become a Titans fan.
