Aruba Resort Help

I am looking for a getaway in Oct possibly to Aruba. This is a single guys trip,looking for great beaches,clear water, and some nightlife.I am leaning to an all inclusive to have a handle on the expenses. I have found several resorts in the Palm beach area that have all inclusive options. Riu Palace Aruba, Occidental Grand Aruba and Holiday Inn Sunspree are among these. Does any one have any input on these resorts or any that I might have missed? I am leaning to Aruba for the casino action at night. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I can not imagine Aruba is a great place for singles. It was relatively lame for my wife and I when we visited. Except when the cruise ships docked, it was dead.

Honestly, Aruba is nothing special. It is windy, dry and relatively ugly. The beaches are nice, but not any nicer than Mexico or any other of a dozen Caribbean locales.

I would much rather spend my money in Playa or even Cancun. And the nightlife is infinitely better in either of those places.
