Article: Kevin Durant beginning to emerge

I think I read the team intends to retire KD's number this season. Can anyone confirm that, and if so, has the game been selected/announced yet?

His awesomeness is overshadowed by OKC suckiness. Hopefully they'll get some talent to support him. He's gonna a star.

I had thought Durant would make a bigger impact right away in terms of his teams success. That hasn't happened.

He needs some help around him for sure. They added Westbrook last year and he looks to be a good young PG. I think they need to go big next year.

I was visiting some relatives in Okieland this past weekend and got a chance to watch Durant play when the Raptors came to Okie City.

Durant can be a legitimate star. They have him back at the 3 and he's starting to bulk up. He has legit NBA 3 point range but can still rebound.

As far as the rest of the team, Westbrook has "upside" as they like to say. He's a rookie but he's a legit NBA point guard. OKC's inside people are average on a good day. Green is plaing the 4 but thinks he's a 3. Collison is OK but very limited. That's about it.

Here's hoping they get Blake Griffin in the draft. He would fit in VERY well with that group. They need interior scoring and rebounding and with his athleticism, they'd be a very good running team with Westbrook, Durant, Griffin, and Green.
