As a guy who works in the alcoholic beverage industry, I say it is about time TABC streamlined, simplified, and modernized their regulations.

This is good for the smaller breweries in the 'beer war' fight. The laws are on the books to protect the big brands in the industry. Everybody knows it. Some of the laws are just silly though, like the fact that you cannot go to a brewery and purchase a case of beer diretly from them. They force the breweries to sell 2nd hand and that is just unAmerican.
