Arrgh. Xbox game wont play.(Updated)

Damn, seems like everything is going out. For some reason, my NCAA 2004 Xbox game wont read. It says that the disc may be dirty or damaged. The weird thing is that I have been playing it for 3 straight weeks now and it hasnt come out of the Xbox in all of that time. Anyone else get this?

Ya its addicting. I went back to NCAA after playing out MAdden and MVP baseball. NCAA is the only game it does it to.

I've had that problem. Just keep trying until it works or find a cd cleaner. Either that, or use the ol' Nintendo blow method.

I had that problem with the 2003 version. I took it back and they would replace it. It happened like 5-6 times. They never questioned me. They just gave me a new game.

my copy of halo has occasionally done that ever since the first day i got it, but i've been too lazy for the lsat 2 years to take it back. i just keep trying until it works, usually no more than one or two tries.

i took it back to circ. city, yes i still had the ticket so it wasn't a problem, even better was teh last time i did it, the price had dropped from 50 to 20, they gave me a gift card to make up the difference

I did a troubleshoot/tech support from EAsports.com and they suggested that I delete all of my NCAA files from the hard drive of the Xbox...that perhaps there could be a corrupted file that was not letting the game fully load. After every alternative I could think of, I decided to erase all of the hours/assbeatings I had put into that game. Well, it friggin worked. The game started right up. Luckily my EA Sports Bio and NCAA accomplishments never changed, everything else did. Sucked cause I had this new recruit (Clemens) who was seriously pushing VY for playing time as a freshman. That team was stacked with 5-star recruits it wasnt even funny. Oh well, I'll be back there in no time....or in time to get NCAA '05 up an running.
