Following a 30 - 21 loss to Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Arizona State athletic director Ray Anderson issues a statement via social media on Sunday saying that Herm Edwards "will relinquish duties as our head coach."

ASU football fans reacted to the statement quickly and strongly, flooding the post with calls for the athletic director to resign or be fired himself.

Let the dominos fall, but this year there are very few quality coaches out there;

Out: Nebraska
Arizona State

Next up:
UCLA (Hear they are negotiating to play in Santa Monica HS Stadium)
Colorado (they don't have the money)
UTEP (They can't do better than Dana Dimel)
New Mexico (Is it every even year or odd year they change)
Kentucky (but, but they are always on the list)
VT (Nebraska is looking for Osborne, VT is looking for Beamer - not Shane
Auburn (worse than Aggies in their expectations & choices)
Tulsa (Somebody above better grab Phillip Montgomery while they can)
Stanford (war between administration & major donors is raging & it could spill over into the football program just because it's a good excuse to get rid of that *******)

Herm relinquished control of the team to the DC who then violated pretty much every NCAA rule. Losing to Eastern Michigan is laughable, but his fate was sealed last offseason when pretty much every team leader abandoned ship.
