Arky vs Fullerton

It's funny, I told a buddy last night that I felt an upset happening in this game because Arkansas is one of those teams that feels like being here is their birthright (sort of like us, I guess), and they don't give a damn who they are playing. As much as I hate Arkie and as much as I respect Fullerton, I would not mind seeing the Hogs win this game, if for no other reason than I'm tired of hearing how unbeatable Fullerton is from people who should know by now that nobody is unbeatable in Omaha.
 
Lots of pitches for Noe in the first 2 innings:51. I hate Arkansas too. But I think that on paper Fullerton is the favorite in the series, so I wouldn't mind seeing them getting taken down.
 
This Fullerton pitcher has the same motion as Ubaldo Jimenez of the Rockies. Unfortunately, he tops out about 7-8 mph less. Cox damn near hit that one out of the stadium.

True that West Coast teams were generally down this year? The first 2 innings of this game and the Irvine regional lend some credence to that theory.
 
Makes all those suggestions that CSF is unbeatable look pretty silly.

This is also good for us int hat we could come into our game tomorrow too cocky.
 
I don't think so. This team has played in too many close games against too many "lesser" teams recently to believe they can't be beaten by Southern Miss.
 
Hindsight is always 20-20. There's no guarantee he would have won this game, and there's no guarantee they won't come back and win it now.

Arkansas came to play. I think as the 2 seed, you have to hope your #2 guy can handle the 7 seed and that you'll need your #1 guy to face the 3 seed. I know it's hard to win 4 games in a row, but I don't think it's smart to treat game 1 like an elimination game. If you do and you lose, then your *** is really in a sling.
