Arizona ties the game at 71 with less then a minute left....UAB inbounds the ball and an Arizona player intentionally fouls as apparently he did not know the score.
Oh but it gets better....
With the score tied Arizona misses a shot with 2 seconds left. A UAB player rebounds the ball and is not even 1/4th the way up the court as he just tries to throw the ball at the basket......and an Arizona player reaches out to grab him as if Arizona was behind. The foul is a shooting foul and the UAB player wins the game on a FT after being fouled on a shot down at the other end of the court.
Flat out amazing outcome and amazingly dumb actions by Arizona players. For this to happen twice in a minute....Did the Arizona coach not tell his players they were tied? Does he need to? Do coaches regularly need to remind players what the heck is going on in the game they are playing?
