Are we locked in to the 5 spot in the tournament?

Who does Missouri have left to play? We're in a position where we have to beat the ags 2 out of 3 to finish above .500 in the conference.

Locked in at 5. Mizzou would have to crumble for us to pass them, since they have the tie-breaker.

If we went 2-1 vs A&M, Mizzou would need to drop 4 of 6 from KU and Nebraska for us to pass them. 3-3 would tie, with Mizzou the #4.

If we sweep A&M, however unlikely that is, Mizzou would need to go 4-2 to hold us off.

Yeah, I figured...Missouri sure has been up and down, I guess anything is possible. We would then play them in the first round, correct? 4 or 5 doesn't really matter.

I see that they have the game times posted, but when will they announce which places play at which times? In the past I think we've assumed they would maximize the exposure for the two "home" teams, but with blow-u possibly not there at all, I was just wondering if they have bumped up letting us know so we can plan to attend.

Not to hijack this thread, but I seriously think this 08 Texas team reminds me of my own team last year. Struggled for much of the year with leadership, will finish 4th or 5th, but seems to have found its stride at the end of the year. It will be interesting to see their series with A&M and how far they've come, as well as the 12 tourney in OKC.

It was just dumb luck we had to end up in Tempe with the explosive Sun Devils. Hopefully, for their sakes, UT gets sent to the east, not to the west. Their success in the postseason will depend on the matchups.

And if 07 Huskers and 08 Texas really are similar, it could bode well for Texas in 09. I seriously doubt Augie forgot how to coach this year.
