Are Monster cables worth it??

We just got a HD tv in our household and I was looking at getting the component video/ analog audio cables to hook up my ps2 to our new 55 " flat screen. However, I have noticed that they are quite expensive and another company produces a similar product for a fraction of the price. Mad Catz is the name of the other company. So my question is this: Will I notice a difference if I go with Monster??

No - they are good cables, but not waaaaaaaaay overpriced. Monster is all about marketing.

The regular posters at Avsforum swear by Blue Jeans Cable -The Link -- top notch cables at sane prices.

People don't hate monster because of the quality - they hate them because they are overpriced.
