Arch Gets 1st NIL

I wonder how long before these corporate gigs start requiring their shill employee player to throw up some alternate “branding” hand sign instead of the Hook'em Horns.

If/when that happens I am immediately sending @SabreHorn down to the field to “recommend” a return to tradition for the misguided young man. Parental discretion advised.

It's just a matter of time before college uniforms look like NASCAR or MLS uniforms.

And it's none of your business that I'm wearing an El Patio t-shirt and a Shady Grove cap as I type this.

GB,

Yes, what you're wearing does matter because this tells me that you are a gentleman of exquisite taste with a nose for the finest cuisine.

Woooah...gonna break out the "nuke 'em till they glow" strategy. I approve.

George,

Simply take you family to The Drag and point out the "Drag Worms" asking for money while explaining that those are the same guys that were in that same spot when you were in school, and they are the definition of "dirty hippy"

Hopefully your family will realize you ain't all that bad.

they are the definition of "dirty hippy"
Well maybe that's your definition but you would be wrong.
Those you describe would indeed be drag worms.
But any of us long-haired hippie types back in the day were called dirty hippies by the redneck contingent.
I never begged money off of anybody.
But I was a dirty hippie then and proud to be a dirty hippie now. :D

Nick Saban: “Well, yes it was a tradition to have plain helmets at Alabama, but let me tell you what, it has been equally a tradition around here that we have always had a target on our backs—metaphorically, I am speaking—so, no I don’t really agree with the whole premise of your question, that we are changing our traditions by letting the Target company put that symbol up on our helmets. So, yeah, we ARE following Alabama tradition. I just don’t see the point you are trying to make . Next question….”

I'm right with you moon.

I doubt those are real "Fans"
Complaining about a charity fundraiser for St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation in Austin, Texas, supporting efforts to improve the health and well-being of children in the community.:smh:

The fundraising is a one off for the first card.
And evidently there is only one autographed card being produced and auctioned.
Arch will be compensated for future cards.
Not that I care, but the family was very vocal about him not accepting NIL until he earned a starting spot.

Moon
If it were not for it going to charity I don't think he would have done it. I am sure the family discussed it.
It would disappoint me if he comes out with another before he is a starter.

Only this first one card is being auctioned for charity.
All the cards they produce after this he will make money off of.
