apparently rivals was impressed with shipley jr

For those who don't maintain a Rivals account, could you give us the Reader's Digest version of that article?

Gracias!

thanks, anny. i was wondering what they said as well. thought it was interesting enough just that they thought so much of him to make him front page.

some on another board are speculating that his stock is probably headed straight up.

Shipley will fit in perfectly with guys like Davis, White, Goodwin, Hales, and Timmons, etc. So excited for our receiving core. I have a hard time figuring out where we are stacked the most for the future. It looks pretty damn good at WR, DL (yes, including DT), and LB. So sick.

I really like the legacy concept....especially if there is a ton of talent included. Hope next one is like his brother (McCoy), too. Got me thinking of past and current family Horns....Koys, Campbells (Austin and Tyler families), Griffins, Achos, Talberts, Krystniks, Jones

(Ham, Jam, Lam).... I know there are others. Anyone else?

i believe it was one of the campbells who ended arkies hopes in the 15-14 barn burner.

might have been the dad. nixon was in the stands and maybe we wanted to impress him.

Tech recruit Michael Brewer was pretty impressive also. Just think Lake Travis is going for their 4th straight state championship with three different coaches.

one thing old horns will tell you is to never bet against one of those brewers. they're a lot like the streets.

He runs great routes. He's fast. He catches anything he touches.

But he's still got some serious work cut out for him: the forearms... not all that impressive.

If he stays healthy he will have a great career. Remember Colt and Jordan as Seniors in High School and Freshmen at UT, they came a long way in 2 or 3 years.

The Horns are loaded with bodies at WR, but no playmakers. Hopefully the big recruits will develop so GG has some one to throw to.
Watch the OU, NU, and Bama games again if you want to be scared about the returning receivers. Without Shipley we lose all 3 of those games and he is on the Bengals now.

All Jones' are all related....Ham and Lam were brothers and Jam and Brian were their cousins. Eddie and Nate are sons but not sure of which one! Mike , Tony and Tyrone weren't bad either. There were several others but not sure of their relationships to the main Jones family.....

I have every reason to believe that Mason Walters is good to go. At least that is the word from his uncle, who I happen to work with. I was worried when I heard it was a foot injury as broken bones in the foot are tough for the big guys to recover from. According to his uncle, it was a little more nuanced than that type of foot injury, but in a good way as far as his prognosis was concerned. I hesitate to disclose any more specifics due to the sensitivity of injury information. But, suffice to say, I'm not nearly as worried as I was after talking to his uncle.

How is Tray Allen doing? Are there any others besides those two?
