I like being the slight underdog to LSU. We beat them, we surge up. We beat OU after that and we’re in the playoff discussion.

Re: other teams. IMHO, it’s good to finally see a poll with WSU in the top 25. I don’t care who he lost to graduation, Leach will have his team playing in the top 25. Iowa State is a huge trap game for both us and OU. They are for real. aTm is too high as is Georgia. I’m not sold on Nebraska either.

Naturally they have Georgia, Bama, LSU, Florida, and A&M etc.. ranked very high...That way even if they aren't all that the two $EC schools, that come out unscathed or with one loss, will have a really high power ranking so the committee can support their putting the two $EC teams in the play-offs. Thats been their MO for many years now. When and if any of them do get beat, they don't drop like a rock like so many other non-$ec teams do...True that the play-off rankings don't come out until later, but don't be fooled.... Those are based on the rankings throughout the season. It is rigged for the $EC. ESPN runs the show and they are in the $$$$$ pit (contract) with the $EC. Even the Winter and Spring sports are slanted for the $EC. Every softball team gets in the play-offs every year. Really ? They don't even try to cover up the bias with them. I realize many of the $EC teams deserve some of it, but ALL of them ? Over other well deserving teams EVERY YEAR ????? I don't think so !!!

I am just throwing this out there but my preseason playoff is:

A whole lotta overrated teams at 3-9. Oregon is surging similar to UT. Maybe they take the PAC-12 with ease.

I think OU is way overrated with the fact that they are replacing 4 O-linemen. Do they not pay attention to stuff like that! With Florida State I think it is name recognition and the thinking that last year was a fluke. I agree that we are underrated.

OU's o-line may have taken a step down. Otherwise, I wouldn't discount a QB that runs like Hurts does and played for Saban. We'd better be ready for LSU and OU (both times?) because they'll be ready....

Re: Kirk Boles I was about ready to blast him, but he has us at 11 which seems about right to me, however I'm not understanding the aggy love from him.

I don't care how much ability Hurts has, what's he going to do without an exexperienced O-line? I am not arguing that OU is going to be terrible like USC was last year, but I don't think they are going to be undefeated and number 3 or 4 either. Last time they wholesale changed their line Bradford got hurt and they had 4 or 5 losses. That was when we won the league and played Bama for the Title in 09. You just can't reload your line. Last time we tried to reload our line was two years ago and we were 7-6.

OLine is the most under rated position in Football. OLine is why I think we win 11 games this year, regular season. Look out OU were comin!
