Horns drop to # 8 in in AP poll. Still have four Big 12 teams in the top 8.

Texas down to #12 in the coach's poll. Iowa State entered the poll at #25, giving the Big 12 six teams in the Top 25.

USA poll took into account the Monday loss by the Horns. Not quite as bad as I thought it might be.

i was thinking the same thing about the coach's poll. and at the start of the season, i figured the horns would be ranked somewhere between 10 and 15 to start Big 12 conference play. i'm good with where we're at right now...still a lot of important games to play.
